Language is of crucial importance in defining a person’s identity, as well as that of a business.
The language of the global marketplace is English, and that’s the reason that in our studio we speak both Italian and English. And at times, we make a glorious mixture of these two semantic worlds.
We assist our clients through the process of internationalisation. We help them pursue an international vision and to position their brands in the Italian and world markets.
Our clients are both Italian and international, just as our partners.
We know that the goal of each of our clients is to carve out a prominent role in the marketplace, positioning themselves in a manner that is effective and secure yet true to their values.
As Route ‘n Roots, our goal is specifically to root our clients deeply into the markets and to propose the concrete path that is most coherent with their business identity and that will lead them in the most direct way possible to sales.
For this purpose, we have developed tools that will be invaluable for businesspersons, company CEOs, export managers, brand managers, company sales departments, and producers who have to participate in B2B meetings, yet don’t know how to set up that initial meeting or how to compose effective company introduction e-mails.
Here are the questions we receive most often from our clients:
How much time does it take to mount a sales campaign abroad?
What do I need and what’s the direction I should go?
These are, in fact, the fundamental questions, and they already indicate the crucial path that must be taken.
The time required to break into the global markets is proportional to the work already devoted to working out the business identity.
So my answer would be: It depends on you, businessperson, on how true to your values you are in your expression, on what role you play in the story you want to tell, and on how coherent that message is with how your business really operates. It depends to a very great degree on how clear you are on your goals and qualities, since these create the values you will be communicating and which your brand will be representing.
And then? That depends on your products and your services. How competitive are they?
Take a hard look at your products; in terms of quality, added value, and authenticity, to what extent can they “hold their own” in the stormy seas of the international marketplace?
After an X-ray analysis of your business, which will come as a healthy dose of truthfulness, you will find out if you are a courageous and disruptive businessperson, if you have what it takes to turn your back on tradition-bound ways of thinking and to adopt new ways, unusual and at times unprecedented roadmaps.
This style of behaviour is important, because it implies as well the length of your reaction time when faced with decisions and opportunities.
What do you need and where do you go to launch into those markets?
You need tools, methods, and a mindset that will make possible constructive thought.
I suggest that borders do not mean limits. If you are not limited by pre-set conditions or biases, you will learn more quickly and move more intelligently. You will achieve more results, contact, sales possibilities, and partnership opportunities. What kind of mindset you have matters a lot.
At Route ‘n Roots, we have all the tools you will need at every step of your entry into the marketplace.
Let’s look at three of them that I believe will help get you into those markets.
The first one, Pitch & Speech, discover it here.
This is a concentrated course that will help you manage important meetings or, more simply, to know exactly what to say on a specific occasion. It is a terrific course for beginners, but pros can also use it to sharpen their skills.
Forget about “The book is on the table”! This isn’t school and longer. You’ve got an important meting and only 5 minutes to prove to the others there, who have been to a thousand such meetings, that you are an important player. If you think your time is precious, think about the time of the person who may/will choose you from those thousands of other presentations.
This is precisely the place to begin.
If you think this might be useful, then give thought as well to our Survival kit and to our Brand map.
